Exploring The Legal Process

Hello everyone! I'm Gael Phillips. It is nice to meet you. I'm here to talk to you about criminal laws, court proceedings and legal repercussions. I feel that sharing this knowledge is important, as many people do not realize how the legal process works. My first, and only, scrape with the law left me shaken. I did not know what to expect throughout the entire case, so I felt unprepared for the outcome. I hope to share my knowledge with people who are in need of support throughout the legal process. I will also post stories full of information about past legal cases for an idea about how the law works. The legal process doesn't need to be scary and mysterious. Sharing stories can give others the insight they need about their situation. Thanks for visiting, come back often!

Be Part Of The Action: How You'd Benefit From Becoming A Court Reporter

If you're looking for a job that provides stability, good pay, and great benefits, you need to look into court reporting. If you've spent time in a court room, you've probably seen court reporters before and not thought much about them. They're the people who sit near the judge's bench inside the court room. They spend the entire trial typing out what is said throughout the proceedings. Court reporters are in high demand. Here are four excellent reasons why you should become a court reporter.

Never Be Out of a Job

As stated previously, court reporters are in high demand, which means you'll never be out of a job once you receive your training. Once you're licensed, you'll be able to work in any state, which means you'll be able to transfer wherever you want. In today's economy, job security is crucial, which makes court reporting the perfect career to get involved with.

Create Your Own Work Schedule

If you're the type of person who likes to be in control of your own time, court reporting is perfect for you. One of the benefits of going into court reporting as a career is that you'll get to create your own schedule. If you want to work full-time, you can go to work in a court room or law office. If you'd prefer to work part-time or keep your schedule flexible, you can do freelance work, which means you'll go from office to office or courtroom to courtroom as your schedule allows. You'll be in charge of controlling how often you work.

It Will Never Get Boring

If you get tired of doing the same thing day after day, you need to look into court reporting. While you will sit at your desk each day, everything else will change. That's because you'll be transcribing courtroom or law office communications, which will change from day to day. You'll hear a wide variety of cases and see many different people each day.

Excellent Way to Start a Second Career

If you're looking for a new career, it's time to consider court reporting. Because the training period to become a court reporter is so short, it's the perfect second career. In fact, if you're about to retire, enrolling in a court reporting course now will ensure that you're prepared to start your second career immediately. Because you can choose your own schedule, you can go to work full-time, or simply work a couple of days a month to supplement your retirement income.
